MTV.es MTV.es The people at trigital called us to start a collaboration to prepare the client-side markup, style and scripting of the spanish site of MTV. The requisites were simply thrilling: following the standards and provide an accessible website with no javascript nor flash required where possible. A good challenge due to the layout and the transparencies (Requirements: none - in theory).
OFFF04 OFFF04 I'm not a digital artist OFFF . experimental audio . unusual video is an international festival of visual creation. OFFF 2004 will be held in Valencia, 1-3 de july. We thank the OFFF team for inviting us to make a speech on javascript and web accessibility. We coded the site following standards and some javascript spicing up for the menu (Requirements: none - in theory). Our work has been replaced by a Flash site, but looks like the intention is having all in accessible html again soon.
Manuel Blancafort Manuel Blancafort Manuel Blancafort site is dedicated to this catalan compositor of XXth century. Outstanding graphical desing, made by Andre Pessoa. We carried out all the programming tasks. Basically a lot of non intrusive dhtml (for newest browsers only), still making it degradable for older ones. Also prepared PHP templates for faster rendering and updatings, and a MySQL database for contents management. Currently online here (Requirements: none - in theory).
gen7es gen7es gen7es is a collaborative project to provide, in spanish language, information about dhtml in particular, and the rest of associated technologies of web development in general. Either by means of translations, or self written articles, or answers given at the forums. We do not pretend to be the spanish Web Standards Project, but we will insist in the use of the standards of W3C and we will try to provide solutions that can help implementing them. Currently online here (Requirements: none).
meddle v1 meddle v1 meddle (v1) started to be conceived in june 2001. We thought it to be a kind of experimental website that we finally released it in october 2001. The site included some custom made dhtml scripts such as the coolwriter and the drag and drop photography section. As for the color scheme, you could like it or hate it. We started to use some PHP and MySQL for simple managing and file size reduction. Currently online here (Requirements: css+js enabled).
escal escal escal: internal scientific report. This website needed to be in CD format, thus avoiding the use of server side technologies or databases. We used dhtml and an underwater theme as the main visual formating. We included the now old coolwriter script there and the drag and drop photography section that we'd later use in version 1 of meddle site. We could safely say fished version was inspired by this one. Currently online here (Requirements: css+js enabled. Language: catalan).
v4 v4 v4 was our first dhtml website, back in 1999. We just took copy/paste scripts from bratta and dynamicdrive, that we later modified to our needs. We would now outstand the use of a toggle menu and it being crossbrowser at that time. Currently offline.
